The Online Magazine Article Writing Workshop®
A few words about Erik Bean and
his publishing philosophy....

E-Mail: deadline@email.uophx.edu

Erik Bean, Writing for Publication author

"Getting published should not be an intimidating process,"
says Erik Bean who has been

teaching Deadline Communications' Magazine Article Writing Workshop across Michigan since 1993.

"There's more than enough room for everyone to get published along the journalistic highway."

Bean says there is no longer a difference between those who have published and those who have not.

Those who have not, either simply haven't tried or they just need some help to focus their writing and to understand what type of writing sells, he adds. With the advent of the Internet anyone can publish anything to millions of people. But can they get professionally paid for their effort?

To follow are some of many local and national magazines where Erik Bean, top page left, began his free-lance career not long ago and where others most certainly have too!

Many magazines, such as these, pay hundreds of dollars per story!

In the on-site and Online Magazine Article Writing Workshop®, Bean shows prospective "would be" authors how to increase the likelihood of getting professionally published. He uses practical examples from his own success stories. "If I can get published, so can most anyone," he explains. After carefully reviewing the targeted publication, each student reads his or her piece out loud (on-site Workshop only).  Then, all the Workshop participants join in on the critiquing.

Online participants may contact a variety of writing groups that are available for critiquing.  Inside the password protected "Participant Lounge," students can utilize a multitude of reviewed links and additional writing samples to help improve their writing.  This tool coupled with either the 115 minute $29.95 Writing for Publication Video or 82-page $15.99 Book comprise a proven method to help get participants articles published quickly!

A variety of magazines are waiting to publish your material!

From attribution to Internet publishing sources, from how to submit your material to photography tips and more, Erik Bean prides himself on being able to easily explain the publishing process. In addition, many students may find themselves laughing throughout the educational process.

National Periodicals: (left, right, center) Aquaculture, Water Impacts, Marketing News
